Front strut replacement S90-V90

1996 965 with 180,000 miles and original front struts! Time to change. Can someone point me to a link or detailed description on how its done. Did the backs and it took longer to pull out the compressor, jack and air gun then it took to replace them. Local shop says $500 for parts and labor including top mounts and bearings, but wanted to attempt as I've never done struts before. Thanks in advance.
