Good morning Dylan,
What I have read so far:
1. Charge indicator light is brightly lit and other bulbs on that circuit are lit, but less bright. That indicates a voltage lower on the charge indicator wire than on the 12V feed into the instrument cluster.
2. Alternator was tested at Auto/Pep/Advance/Napa Zone. Load tested good.
3. Battery charges and carries the load for as long as can be expected with no charge.
4. Wiring is verified correct.
5. The indicator circuit wire is not grounded in the harness.
6. Grounds are solid, including the engine strap.
If I have all that correct I am led back to the alternator. Regardless of what the tester indicated (or the man running the tester said it indicated), the alternator is not putting out current.
Put a volt meter directly on the B+ post at the back of the alternator. I know it is not easy to do; tight quarters back there. Do you have charge voltage or battery voltage? The answer to that question will lead us to the fault.
