No start, weak spark 700 1988

These are Bougicord wires from FCP so they're one step below OE grade. I replaced in summer of '05 after I felt that the ones put in Goteborg were probably at the end of their reasonable life expectancy ('87 date stamp on them :-o).

I have jumpered the RSR to eliminate thay possibility. I'll check for thet actual voltage at the plug though to be sure. The red lead at the relay was getting good power, though.

The insulation in the RSR female connector finally crumbled to pieces as I was removing it. Anybody have good tips for fixing that? Layers of heatshrink tubing around the connectors perhaps?
