1985 245 Engine wiring harness 200 1985

Hi Howard,

I think the back of the connector has a short plastic post with a T-head that locks into the slotted hole in the clip. The bottom of the clip locks to the connector, and the top hangs from the lip of the firewall.

Maybe it would be helpful to see what the clip looks like:







The pic you saw with the harness rot under the manifold inside the sheathing I repaired by replacing the wires affected. Some were disintegrating while others were supple and fresh looking. That was an 84.
