Driving that used Volvo back home a distance question 140-160

If you were going to be driving a used Volvo back home what tools would you bring with you to handle some of the more basic emergencies?

I once had a heater hose blow out on me but it was a quick fix with some tightly wound duct tape and we were back on our way, so I definitely know to bring the tape.

What else should I consider bringing that I can throw in my suitcase?

Thanks for your help.
