Road crown, wheel alignment, and suspect parts 700 1987

Hi folks,

Just a quick survey: how badly does the crowning of the road affect your driving? I can drive absolutely straight on a flat piece of pavement without holding on to the steering wheel, but when driving on a two-lane road (which is crowned for drainage) I hold my steering wheel cocked to the left to keep from drifting off the road. Does this indicate poor alignment, suspect steering or suspension components, or is this just the nature of the 740? This is my first RWD car, so the handling and such is still a bit alien to me.

Thanks!

Ari
