Rear springs/shocks to use in rough conditions 700 1987

Hi folks,

I have some spring sag on the right rear, and the FAQ makes replacement sound easy. My suspension takes a lot of abuse from the really nasty dirt road I live at the end of, and I hesitate to buy parts that will result in a stiffer ride. I will be going back to the university in August, but until then, I have a commute that includes half a mile of very rough road each way.

What I want out of a spring/shock replacement is correct wheel alignment and for the car to sit evenly on its suspension. I would like to keep my handling at at least as good as it is now. I'd appreciate any advice offered.

Thanks!

Ari

PS - I go very slow on my gravel road. I know the toll that gravel roads take on cars, and I minimize that by not rally racing up the drive. :)
