For appearance sake, or for function? You have a choice .... 200

If you want to have Euroheadlights (a combined high/low lamp with a common front, glass lens), the problems you'll face are almost insurmountable.

First, even if you import the headlights from Europe, you'll find that post-'81, Europe-market cars had the same front fenders as our USA-market '86-on cars -- and you can't mount those headlights onto your USA-market, pre-'86 fenders because the contours of sheet metal around the lights are different! You would have to do a lot of fabrication to make them fit (the headlights are taller, and the metal around the parking lights are different).
Further, most brands of those Euroheadlights (e.g., DJAuto) that are relatively(!) cheaper are crap (I know, because I have one set of those on my wife's '93); the only decent ones (I know, because I have one set of these on my own car, another '93), made by Volvo/Cibie, are very expensive.

There were pre-'81, Euroheadlights that could be more easily made to fit (because they're not as tall) on your car (with less sheetmetal modification to your front end), but their performance is not up to par with what you can do for your own "sealed beam" headlights.

If, instead of appearance, you're interested in performance, i.e., better lighting, then you can't do any better than swapping your sealed beam headlights (quad rectangular) with Cibie e-code (H-4 bulb'd) headlights. These are a direct swap, and they'll light your way even better than Volvo/Cibie Euroheadlights (I know because I've still also got my '84 with these). Try www.danielsternlighting.com/products to see what I mean. And remember that even with modest, 55/60W H4 bulbs in these lamps, the lighting will be vastly better than your sealed beams -- for such modest wattage bulbs, you don't really need parallel, heavy-gauge wiring and relays.
And the best thing is that you can get this substantial lighting improvement at a small fraction of the cost of Euroheadlights.

Good luck.
