FCP Groton's European E code headlamp kit 200

Has anyone used/installed the European E code headlamp kit from FCP Groton? I replaced my OEM plastic lights a couple of years ago with European E codes I bought used, they were a big improvement over yellowed/hazed plastic but the reflectors/buckets are oxidized/de-silvered and not very reflective and one lens has some surface abrasion. I am considering putting new units from FCP on my '87 245 and old E codes on and '86 245 beater wagon I'm selling. I've read some good reviews about FCP kit but heard comments about poor fitment an am wondering if any one has any experience with both? Thanks
