Head Gasket Update 200 1992

In case anyone was following my head gasket repair, here's an update.

I took the head to the shop where it was cleaned, pressure tested, resurfaced, and had new oil seals and valve stem seals installed.

Over this weekend I removed the oil separator box from the engine and cleaned it out. Installed a new water pump. Changed the crankshaft oil seal. Installed the head gasket. Installed the head. Installed the valve cover and gasket. Installed a new timing belt and put the timing belt covers back on. Installed new water hoses that go to and from the heater core.

This week I'll install new radiator hoses and install the radiator fan and shroud. After that I'll hook up the exhaust manifold, intake manifold, and throttle connections.

If I'm lucky I'll get this thing running again and save $800 over what a shop would have charged me.

Wish me luck.
