floor vent, and cruise works, but no deffoster vent, I thought if you lose one you lose all 200 1991

You can hear the floor vent door slam shut, but the defrosters vents are putting out nothing. On my 1987 245, if you lost one due to vacuum leak in engine compartment, you lost them all. The vacuum line is not broken or cracked in the engine compartment. Why would the door vent work so well but no defroster vent?

If there is a loose or broken vacuum line under the dash, could this be the source of my rough idle?
