a/c super seal-any luck or opinions? 200 1987

decided to take a big risk and have the a/c converted to 134-not knowing for sure if the system would work when we got it done-but with summer coming we took a chance. well, the mechanic did the work and said its working for now, but it has a slow leak and will not last. He said a new compressor etc would run about 675 with labor. We decided to think about it for a few weeks, while luxuriating in the a/c.

im having a hard time spending so much on the system when it honestly doesnt blow that great-its just not very powerful in my opinion, but something is better than nothing i guess. Well we found a kit at the auto store called super seal auto a/c metal and rubber repair kit. Im wondering if anyone has had any luck with these kits.

does everyone have a similar experience with the ac just not very powerful to begin with? its pretty cold, but overall it takes quite a while to make the car cool enough-and its not even hot yet!
