Oh the joy of valve cover leaks... 200 1989

I got it powder coated, and I sanded/polished the letters and filler cap mating surface, but didn't sand the coating off the head's mating surface. So she is a little leaky, nothing runnin' down the head or block yet, but this is what I do find:

I have seen oil around, but never on top of acorn nuts. Before it is asked, pcv system is tip top. I am pretty sure its the gasket and powder coating acting up...

Has anyone seen this before?

At least the oil still look good, lol
