Oil drain plug leaking 200 1993

When I bought this car I noticed a slight leak at the oil drain plug. I changed the oil and put a new (magnetic) drain plug and copper washer on. Things seemed okay at first. Yesterday, I noticed a small spot beneath the car in the parking lot.

The guy who owned this before me had his oil changed at the quicky places. I'm guessing the bolt was overtorqued and now the threads are stripped. I don't know for sure though. Perhaps it just wasn't tight enough?

Does anyone have any suggestions or advice from similar experiences?

Thanks,
Jon
