manual window repair 200 1988

hello again, I am working on my driver manual window today. I guess what I want to know is has anyone ever done this. Mine came apart at the screw looking piece that holds the crank piece to the other piece of the regulator. It seems the fastening piece has broken off some. It stays together, but not well enough to use..it would prob fall apart again when I hit a bump. I have also noticed it is hard to find the manual regulators at least driver side. I missed one on eBay a couple months ago, and now there is none :( I want my window back, so if anyone has any tips or can sell me a driver manual regulator it would be fantastic. I was thinking of going to lowes or place like that and getting a small bolt and nut to try and hold it together, but then I think there will be play in there if I do that.
