The definition of either cheap or optomism, not sure...... 200 1986

Today the fabric dash cover arrived, thereby guaranteeing that I will find an uncracked dash any time now. IPD put them on sale and I made the plunge to cover the big set of cracks running across Inga's dash.

That little tiny strip of Velcro is either one of the cheapest or most optimistic things I have ever gotten out of a box. Read the dire warnings about washing the dash and clean surface or the adhesive not holding. Then started looking around for the actual strip of Velcro mentioned in the instructions. First I thought I had dropped it, or they left it out of the box. There it was on a staple, five inches of the stuff to hold down a five x 1.5 foot section of fabric to a plastic dash.

Think I will stop by and get a couple of more inches, just in case optimism was not the right choice.

Regards,

Paul
