Light/Key Idiot Buzzer Working Only Intermittantly 200 1980

My wife has a 1980 244. She has apparently grown reliant upon the idiot buzzer which sounds if you leave the key in the ignition or the lights turned on when the door is open. She is frequently leaving the lights on and walking away from the car.

I first figured the problem was the door switch. But the interior dome light operates properly so I think that proves the switch is ok.

I also checked the fuse which the manual mentions and it seems ok too. In fact, all the fuses look fine.

The buzzer does work sometimes but it has gotten so it fails to operate most of the time now. So I am wondering if there is a relay or other connection that I should be checking-out?

Thanks for your help/pointers on this.
