Aye, I've got correct oil at the correct level in the dashpots.
I think it maybe the pierburg pump...flat top, no filter to clean...not 100% though.

If I dial the flats down to 2 whole turns (as recommended as a starting point by volvo) the car won't start let alone run...it only likes it right at the top of the jet..

I'll try to pilfer an og pump to fiddle with..that, or an fpr.
It has got grose jets/valves in the bowls, doubt that makes any odds.
