think its a fuel delivery issue, pump i think. 140-160 1971

Actually, there are many pumps out there that will do the job, although some might require a slightly different mounting than the stock piece. I say this because last I checked some years ago, the direct replacement 1800/140 FI pumps tended to be terribly expensive. I don't use the stock setup on my race car, as I have a fuel cell and dual pump setup, so I don't have any recent experience. Absolutely no question that someone on this board can help out here though... speak up folks! There's also probably some discussion of this subject in a previous thread or two (or dozen), so you might give the search function a try.
