Prior to embarking on an ala carte engine rebuild project, I would like to find out if there are B18/B20 "Crate Engines" available from professional rebuilders.

According to my calculations, by the time I get through purchasing the necessary components/kits for the engine and cam, I will have over $1000 in parts and probably another $500 in machine shop work ahead of me.

Would like to save cash and time if a source is available for a complete long block.
