Crate Engines

BTW, I charge 8 hours to build a motor and that costs $576.00 and I spend way more than 8 hours cleaning, preparing, measuring, clearancing, painting, wire wheeling fasteners and assembling a motor.

You are certainly more than fair on your labor, Eric.

You should get a high school kid as an apprentice to do all that cleaning for you. ;-)

It would free you to do other things and the kid gets experience. Show him how to use the tools, what not to do, and let him have his head. If you let him use the shop after closing he will work for gas money; that is how I spent my teen years.

Mr. Shannon DeWolfe -- I've taken to using mister because my name misleads folks on the WWW. I am a 53 year old fat man. ;-)
