Sachs or Boge? 200

Folks,

I rebuilt my 1991 240 and in spite of what I thought was exhaustive and good research. So, I have a 1991 Volvo with IPD TME lowering springs, Bilstien HDs front, KYP Gas Adjust rear, and all rubber bushes, some after market. I also have the after market strut mounts. No, I've not gotten the adjustable torque rods and panhard rod, yet. Yes, Koni Yellows would have been better. Mind you, I spoke with IPD and FCP Groton sales.

So, now I have a 1992 240 GL, 140,000 miles, manual tranny, L-jet 3.1. Between FCP groton, Tacsca http://www.tascavolvoparts.com/, shox.com, eshox, drivewire, I have it all down, I think. I was going to go for the Scantech HD springs and Koni yellows (adjustable), but that 740$ more than keeping the stock springs and going for Sachs Advantage dampeners. Yes, urethane bushes.

So, from drivewire.com or autopartswarehouse.com, we have the following Sachs Advantage gas-charged dampeners:
Volvo 240 MacPherson Front Strut Insert pn W0133-1610376 (@ 71$ to 81$ US each)
Volvo 240 Rear Shock pn W013301615327 (@ 55$ to 57$ US each)

IPDUSA and FCP Groton don't sell these. FCP Groton and Shox.com sell a complete set of Bog Turbo Gas. FCP Groton.com also sells the front strut insert of the Boge Pro Gas and nothing matching for the rear. I won't bother with the Boge PNs.

You'd think ZF would make it easier.

So, buying the Sachs means I'd get made in Germany Sachs gas charged and not Boge.

Or, if you Koni fans are out there, convince me to buy the ScanTech HD Springs from FCP groton and the Koni Sport adjustable Yellows and that'd be a good set up.

Thanks,

Bruce and his 3 wobbly Volvo 240s.
