You want to keep us posted on your plans, and if possible provide 'live' updates to 'the board. I'll bet there are active BB'ers within 100 miles of any point on your route. A call for help, or a stop for coffee should be no more than a couple hours away.

I used to live in New Mexico, and loved the Southwest...jealous here!
