240 just shutting down?? 200 1989

Hello, I really would help. I recently bought a '89 240 wagon. Supposably the previous owner said he change the fuel filter and fuel lines after it had ben sitting awhile. When I got it, I changed the oil, filter, air filter, cleaned out the intake, and ran gas treatment in it. The car has some electrical issues such as when the horn is blown, the back windshield wiper comes on. The major problem is this: while driving, the car will just shut down. It doesn't stall or sputter. It just dies, however, the radio, lights, etc... stays on. After this happens, sometimes it will start right back up, and other times it has to sit before starting. Two days ago it died, but this time it is not starting back up. I have the battery and alternator checked and both check out. Any help??
