Ongoing 2-1-2 code 200 1990

So here's what I've done to try to fix it.
1990 long wire o2 sensor

checked the voltage on it at the firewall - seems fine.
replaced the fuel pressure regulator
quadruple checked the vacuum hoses
tune up parts (distro rotor, plugs, wires, air filter)
throttle body cleaning

tried a new o2 sensor, still gets 2-1-2, so removed it
tried a new maf, still gets 2-1-2, so removed it

have NOT checked the leads at the ecu
my mechanics suspect the white label 561, but iirc that one should be fine, should i try a 951 ecu ?

if the signal isn't getting to the ecu, what do i do, just replace the wires ?

should i run some fi cleaner ? brand recommendations ?

any other things to try ?

mmm
