Yes, having it all taken care of the right way is pricey but worth it imo.
Remind your welder to FULLY REMOVE the wheel well carpet and padding BEFORE tack-welding that panel into place. Doesn't take much heat to melt carpet as it turns out :(!!
Where are you and what Volvo shop do you speak of?
