Overdrive issue...'82 245...AW55 or AW70? 200

The OD on my newly added '82 is acting up and I am willing to bypass it all together by using the kit from IPD. My question is how to determine if my brick has AW70 or AW55. According to IPD, this kit works only on AW70s and AW71s. As I found out, from the vlvworld, '82 came possibly with AW55 or AW70... What's the difference any ways? HELP!

PS, I have installed new switch and the relay. Haven't tested the solenoid but I love the idea of the bypass if I can....Cheers!
