Pilot bearing 140-160

Making progress on the switch on my 68 144 from BW35 to manual. I have the 6 bolt crank. After removing the tranny and converter I pulled the flex plate. There appears to be a round disk with hole covering the pilot bearing hole. At first I was worried that my crank wasn't drilled for pilot bearing. I can put my finger in the hole of the disk. I can feel the pilot bearing socket. Does that round disk plate just pull off exposing the pilot bearing slot? If so what is best approach to pull that round plate.

Craig
