injector question 140-160 1971

My big thing with with starting OK and with no power on acceleration is fuel supply. Check the fuel filter for rust/clogging, also with the old fuel hoses involved, the feeder hose to the pump sometimes collapses where the hose is bent when the fuel pump sucks more fuel during acceleration

The focus for the two plugs clean and two dirty....the plugs fire two at a time, determined by the breaker switch in the base of your distributor. The wiring connection should be checked, often the connector holding devises that hold the female end in the plug wear out and it may look seated in the connection but maybe is not quite seated enough when the 3 wire plug was connected.

Hope this works,

Joel
