Preemptively rust proofing the INSIDE of rocker panels? 200

Howdy all,

My winter project has been fixing up a neglected but 99.9% rust free SOUTHERN '88 240. This car will be taking over for a totally rusted out NORTHERN '87 240 sometime in the next month or so. I've vacuumed out all of the debris from inside the rocker panels and cleaned out the drains and what have you, but I got to thinking....

Anyone have any thoughts for a product that could be sprayed on the inside of the rocker panels to prevent rust? Anyone ever try anything like this? I don't mind cleaning the rockers out once a year, but I'd like to do whatever I can to put the odds in my favor. I'm gradually working my way towards a 100% rust free fleet--you know, for the long haul....

Thanks!

Best,
Afton
