Bosch Distributor 444-544 1965

I am in the process of rebuilding a spare engine (B18 to B20) and amongst the parts that I have collected over the past years I have a Bosch JFUR4 distributor that I would like to consider using. Presume that the vacuum pot sitting on its side is a Retard unit. Useful or solely for Emission control purposes?

Problem I am encountering is that the Bosch Part Number (0231146078) doesn't seem to match anything "Volvo" in my Google and Yahoo searching efforts, along with historical material here on the BrickBoard.

Closest I can come is a Bosch 0231146077 that was used on some B20's.

First thing I would like to determine is: Will the thing work on a B18 with a D grind cam and SU HS6's? (I would hate to find out that I have been cleaning and polishing a Distributor suitable only for 1955 VW Bugs!)

Help?
