New gas tank 140-160

Hello,

I have a 74' 142 and the gas tank is rotted out of it. I also have a:
-740 sedan 86' and 90'
-740 wagon 88'
I am planning to take the plastic tank out of one of them and put it in the 140. I realize that it will probably need new straps to hold it and we have a 12 volt electric fuel pump for a carborated engine.
Is there a benefit to using one fuel tank over the other? Thanks again.
