LH 2.4 ECU check O2 sensor 200

Bentley's, editor close out 07/93 version sez:

With the ECU connector off and opened for probing.

Oxygen sensor wiring harness. 24 and ground

- Oxygen sensor connected = Continuity

- Separate connector and connect green wire to ground (by this I presumed it meant to go under the hood and disconnect the sensor wire from the green wire) = No continuity

When I tested, I got no continuity for the first test and continuity for the second test. I checked the errata and didn't see anything on this. I think the instruction results are reversed.

I also checked the green wire from the engine compartment to the ECU for continuity and for a short to ground and found neither. If the Bentley test is correct, any thoughts on what I've got going on?
