long trip 200

hey guys its been a while since ive been here

but im trying to decide if i should drive my 1987 245 with a broken odometer and broken fuel guage the 700 mile trip to alabama and back.
the car has been reliable to me so far
its got a five speed with lots and lots of miles on the clutch.
it doesnt really slip but occasionally i get a squeak out of her in hard acceleration.
other than that ive maintained it pretty well
it could have up to 300k miles on it but probably closer to 250
im a pretty good mechanic and have tools.
ive got new break pads fluid all around

so what should i look out for before the trip any good things to check. or spare parts to bring
im already thinking fuel pump.
