Windshield installation 544 444-544

Yes, we walked away several times last night. We were trying to put the chrome into the rubber 1st, maybe that is the mistake. The rubber is new, so it does fight all the way and with the chrome being so fragile, you have to walk away. And, it does pop out if you don't hold it real tight. Needless to say, we are still working on it later today. Maybe we will try the way you said.. I had my green book out and they make it look easier than it is. PHEW! What were they thinking?
