As far as merging 2 years injection and ignition systems together goes, I'd like to clarify that the ignition system was taken out of an '84. The fuel

injection system is out af an '84 also. Since both the '83 and the '84 both have the B23F engines this shouldn't be an issue. The engine itself is an '83

B23F. Since the ICU is the same part number for both the '83 and '84 (M46 man. trans.),it doesn't matter which year that came out of. The only part that I've

experimented with exchanging from the '84 part to the '83 is the ECU. The one out of the '83 is the 503 and the '84 one is the 510. Since I haven't yet

determined what the problem is then I can use whichever one gets this car to run. I would prefer that to be the one from the '84. To answer your other

question, yes I have the Bentley service manual so I do have both years wiring diagrams. Thanks, Charles
