Power steering fluid leak... 200 1990

Greetings all, going to work in my '90 245 yesterday, and power steering went wonky on me; I figured it was just low fluid. I was right, because it's leaking out of the end RH boot down the tie rod, dripping onto the wheel and being flung all around the wheel well. Nothing else is wet around the steering gear, the middle or left side of the rack, nor is anything leaking from the pump or the reservoir. Is fluid sealed in the boots, or did some other seal let loose? This is the first trouble I've ever had w/ power steering before. Is this an easy fix or do I need a new rack?? Thanks!

John
