The only thing you need from the external amp is the wires to the rear speakers. I remove the amp to locate my radios in the lower compartment (harder for crooks to see),

I cut the wires at the connector to the amp, these are the wires to connect the rear speakers to the new radio harness.

The other larger connector has the front speaker wires and all the different power and ground.
