1974 145 M40 to M41 upgrade 140-160

I want to upgrade my m40 to a M41 in my 1974 145. I recently acquired a 1969 145 parts car that was upgraded with a good condition M41. My original plan was to swap all the 69' drivetrain parts over to my 74.... but it sounds like the 69 140 cars used different diameter driveshafts with different flanges. I don't think the 69 driveshaft flange will match up with my 74' rear end. Are there any OEM solutions to this problem?.... Or will I need to have a custom driveshaft made. Thanks for your time
