non-volvo question

Good morning, VolvoCoastie,

Does the 325 have an hydraulic clutch? What you describe sounds more like a problem with clutch actuation. Not knowing any more about the problem, that is as far as I can venture a guess. I would certainly get a second opinion.

Unrelated: One of the reasons I have never been able to bring myself to buy a BMW is because of the cost of ownership. Having said that, there is a 1975 3.0CSi coupe that is sometimes at my mechanic's shop. It belongs to an out-of-town lawyer who leaves it here at his weekend place on a nearby lake. He takes the car to Tony's Automotive to do anything and everything that needs to be done to it. If ever that car comes up for sale, I will find a way to make it mine. It is Beautiful.

BTW, there are BMW forums too. Check with the guys who eat, sleep, and drive all things Bavaria.
