P/S rack leak 200

Hey all,

I have a rebuilt p/s rack that is leaking badly from the input shaft. It is only a year and a half old, but out of the warranty period. Did I do something wrong installing this new rebuilt rack to cause it to leak this quickly or is this just bad luck? One of the hoses on the rack itself is plastic and because of the way it was routed, it had to go under the passenger side U mounting bolt. It could not go over it. I am pretty sure that it is not pinched on crimped at all, but could a very slight compression of this tube cause excess pressure in the rack and cause the input shaft seal to leak?
The previous rack leaked because one of the banjo bolt fittings for the hoses on the rack itself corroded. I do not think the two leaks are related.

I could not get the lower U joint off the steering or input shafts last time so I had to end up cutting it off. I am not looking forward to doing this again. Hopefully the anti-seize I put on there will help this one slide right off?
