Shift Interlock switch? 700

Ahoy Ryan,

I have loose shifter bushings and the bushing kit is on the way from FCP.
I have had a few cases recently where the car would suddenly quit cranking.
I was wondering if the loosey goosey shift linkage could have porked up the interlock switch. The car starts right up when shorting the starter motor
heavy 12VDC to the starter solenoid terminal (Blue wire).

Maybe I need a new interlock switch which is no big deal when I get to the
local boneyard parts depot. It's only happened a few times so it's a PIA.
I'll do the shifter bushings in a few days, and since I'm replacing the exhaust from the Cat back, I expect that a few more curses for the bushings will
just disappear in the repair ambiance in my still frigid driveway.

Bill
