Door locked like Fort Knox 200

Over the last couple of months the passenger door on my 1989 240dl has got harder and harder to unlock. I used to be able to spray a little lube in the key hole and it would open. Now no matter how hard I turn the key or pull up on the plunger it will not unlock. Any ideas what to do? BTW the central locking on the car does not work if that matters.
