1994 SW 940 turbo 900

hello I just got this car yesterday which was not running. we put a battery in and turned the engine over with a wrench to see if it was locked up ,it did turn over with out interferience. we then tried to crank the engine over with the starter but it only turned over a few revolutions ,we could see and hear liquid comming from #4 cyl. and i think the gasket is bad and or a valve on no.4 cyl is bad or bent. we are planning to take the head off to see what that shows us. if anyone has more input that would be great thanks,Richard
