An update (now this is a general "Help!' thread...) 700 1990

So I got my throttle body gasket today and cleaned the body and flame trap and the line between the two, put it all back together...

And it runs!

I'm thinking that I'm doing something right... until I realize that I left the TPS unplugged. Plug it back in and suddenly it's back to the same old rough idling and stalling garbage. Unplug it and I can't make it stall no matter how hard I try. It idles at 600 rpm and sounds like a diesel engine but it RUNS.

Now, I made SURE that I adjusted the TPS properly. Absolutely certain. Clicks at idle and full throttle, and clicks back coming off of either one. No issues with the TPS adjustment.

It's started hunting around at idle with the switch plugged in, too. Not sure if I just noticed it or if it's actually a new development.

Thoughts, anyone? New FPR coming in tonight or tomorrow morning, but I don't think that's the smoking gun causing this problem.
