Modules under driver's seat 200 1992

Found on a 1992 245DL: What are the two electrical modules under the carpet under the driver's seat?

The most forward unit has only the identification "Bosch 0 285 100 016". It just snaps into place. I'm thinking it might have to do with the SRS (airbag system).
The other, just to its rear and screwed down, is labeled "Volvo 3515221, Bosch 0 0285 001 028". I'm guessing that it is related to the ABS.

Both are connected to their own orange colored wrapped cable assembly.
