Rear wheel spindle 444-544

Hi all new to this site, I have a chance at a65 pv544, they says it runs and body is in good shape. The passenger floor board is rusted out, but all in all it looks pretty good.

My question is the rear wheels are off and the spindle thread on the rear wheel is slightly stripped, inculding the nut that keeps the wheel on. Question what is the best way to repair the thread, and anyone know where to get a new nut. I think they call them castellated nut, and does anyone know what size it might be. Don't what to force the old nut back on, and ruin it further. Would like just to get the car towed home before the sellers raise the price.

thanks
Bruce
