Does the 940 have a "temperature compensation' circuit? 900

Those of you who have owned the 240 model are likely familiar with the "temperature compensation board" which causes lots of problems with the engine temperature gauge. This circuit board apparently is intended to make the temperature gauge read at the center of the scale for a wide range of engine temperatures rather than have the reading move up and down more in keeping with actual engine temperatures. Many of us bypassed that board to get the temperature gauge to give a more realistic rearing.

I my previous post about an overheating problem, I mentioned that the temperature gauge did not reach the red mark until much of the coolant had already boiled out of the expansion tank. Then, suddenly, the gauge shot over into the red. There was no useful warning of the overheating problem.

I don't see any temperature compensation board or circuit in the wiring diagram for the 940 but maybe I just missed it or maybe there isn't one.

What does the form know of this?
