Easier less messy oil changes anyone?

I have been interested in a vacuum or pump operated tool that lets you suck out the oil through the dipstick tube for quite some time. These are mainly used in small engine and marine applications. Has or does anyone ever used this method? If so how well did it work? My biggest concern is that it wouldn't get out ALL the oil or that the tube might interfere with something or get stuck. If no one has then maybe I'll be the boards space monkey!

Take care,
Marc
