The easy way to remove the drip molding with no damage is to buy one of the aluminum bottle cap openers from your local 7-11/Stop and Go, or whatever you have for a S--t and get it store. These openers are fairly small, and are made from an aluminum extrusion. They will gently pry the molding away from the rail, and they make it easy to do. I have used them for years to salvage the irreplacable drip rail moldings on 60's and 70's Muscle Cars.
